The Secret of Strangers by @jesskitchingwrites
What a read!
A thriller author finds herself right in the thick of a missing local woman’s case, and from there I was completely hooked. Set in a quaint English village, this had all the cosy small-town charm on the surface, with something much darker bubbling underneath.
I genuinely had no idea who the abductor was until the reveal, and when it came, I was gobsmacked.
Twisty, tense and very easy to fly through. A great pick if you love a village mystery with a proper “wait… WHAT?” ending.

@mattynable new book will be in store 7th July
Mire is a page turning thriller that takes us from the Stockmarket floors in Sydney to the south coast of NSW and onto the Mafia ruled streets of New York. Body count is high and the stakes are higher.
