Belinda`s Bookshelf Confession!
Arborescence by @rhettsdavis
I really didn’t expect to enjoy this because magical realism is definitely not my thing. Yet, there was something about this which was so close to what could be possible that I was hooked. I can totally imagine a world where humans decide it’s easier and more enjoyable to be a tree! I spent a great deal of time wondering what kind of tree I’d be should I ever decide to arboresce. Brilliant, clever, original writing. Loved it.
