GIFT VOUCHERS

Gift vouchers are a great choice for book lovers of all ages and provide them with the joy of choosing for themselves.
If you are unable to visit our shop, you can arrange purchase and postage of our Gift Vouchers by phone.
We offer two options:
Firstly, our own Farrells Vouchers, which can only be redeemed at our shop. They can be made to any value of your choice.
Secondly, we sell Australian Booksellers’ Association (ABA) vouchers, which can be redeemed at many bookshops around Australia and are a great gift for friends & family who live interstate. These vouchers come in predetermined values and change cannot be given.

GIFT WRAPPING

We have a range of quality paper available if you need that book wrapped for a special occasion. Ask our friendly staff at the time of purchase, and we will gladly wrap your book.
From time to time we may ask for a gold coin donation for our wrapping service, with all proceeds going to an identified charity.

POSTAGE

As it may not always be convenient for you to visit our shop, purchases may be made over the phone or via email, using a credit card. Postage charges will depend on the weight of the parcel and the destination.

FRIENDS OF FARRELLS – LOYALTY PROGRAM

To thank our regular customers for their loyalty, we have a loyalty program: Friends of Farrells (FoFs).
It is very simple to join. You may like to request a membership form when you are next in the shop, and a staff member will happily go through the parameters with you!
Once you have registered, there are no cards to lose as we simply ask that you provide your phone number at the beginning of a purchase.
If you are unable to visit we can arrange to post a form and answer queries over the phone.

OUR REFUND & EXCHANGE POLICY

Refunds

Please choose carefully as we do not give refunds for change of mind or making a wrong decision.
A refund will only be offered if goods are faulty, have been wrongly described or are different from a sample shown to you.
If this is the case AND you have a receipt showing valid proof of purchase,
you may choose between a refund, exchange or credit voucher.

Exchanges

If you change your mind about an item or have provided a gift to someone who wishes to exchange it,
each of the following requirements must be met:
– our receipt must be provided as proof of purchase;
– the item must be in as-new, saleable condition; and
– it must be within 28 days of the original purchase date.

Christmas Exchange Period

Purchases made between 1 November and 24 December 2019 may be exchanged until 31 January 2020.
Receipts must be presented for any exchange and all other requirements in our regular Exchange Policy must still be met.
If you require an additional copy of your receipt for multiple gift recipients in one transaction, please ask staff.
