I loved the super cute, bold and self-righteous voice of this little kid who DEFINITELY doesn’t like broccoli.  He writes to his most hated vegetable with a myriad of reasons about why broccoli doesn’t belong on his plate.  The to and fro of the letter format in this book makes for a fun, pacey read perfect for kids and adults alike who are fighting the age-old vegetable battle.

A deliciously funny picture book that is sure to make even the pickiest of eaters look at their dinner in a new light.

About the Author: Jo’s writing career started in advertising in Melbourne and continued across agencies here and in London. Jo and her husband now run a small creative agency from home in Melbourne, where they live with their two boys. Jo loves any sort of crafty activity and is also an avid theatre fan. In another life, she would definitely have played Ado Annie in Oklahoma or at the very least would have been cast as a dancing hay bale in the chorus.

Cate James is an illustrator, artist and author based in the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. She moved here from Edinburgh, Scotland in 2015 and loves the sunshine. She has been working as a full-time freelance illustrator since 2010 and has a background in printmaking. Cate works mostly in children’s publishing on picture books and illustrated texts. In 2015 she had her first book published as author/illustrator.
